Russian ministry offers North Korea to establish trade house
VLADIVOSTOK, Oct 14 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Far East Development Ministry suggested North Korea establish a trading house to stop deals through intermediaries, the ministry said in a statement Wednesday.
Russia now exports goods to North Korea through China.
“The Russian side believes that the establishment of an Asian trading house could be one of the ways to optimize bilateral trade relations,” the ministry said.
The ministry also proposed to promote transactions in national currencies, skipping the U.S. dollar.
